Ekkamai Bus Terminal is about 30 minutes drive (Grab) from Don Mueang International Airport.

The bus journey will take 2.5 hours and stops at North Pattaya Bus Terminal, and then take Grab to Bali Hai Pier in South Pattaya, distance about 6km or 20 minutes Grab drive.

From Bali Hai pier, proceed to take the ferry to Koh Larn at Dock A, Pier 1. There are ferries every hour for THB30 and take the ferry that goes to Na Baan Pier in Koh Larn.

After disembarking at Na Baan jetty, proceed to Amazon Cafe at the jetty’s exit for land transport to hotel for checkin or go directly to Fly Koh Larn paragliding center at Samae Beach.

Checkin at your hotel/chalet/homestay according to each individual booking arrangements. There are various choices available from Booking.com or Traveloka apps.

Below is a recommendation and where I have stayed before, it’s reasonably priced, clean and its location is within walking distance to Na Baan jetty (short distance to jetty helps a lot during checkout for returning to Pattaya).

Koh Larn has a few flying sites, but the main location is called Giant Buddha takeoff at Ta Waen beach and it requires North wind to fly.

During June-July-August season, the prevailing wind will be from West or Southwest, occasionally from South. For this season, the flying site will be Windmill Lookout Point below :
